"most hits"

There have been a number of posts about this, but I can't seem to really think of a good replacement. I was about to do hits/day but this comes with a number of problems:

a) to take the last 24 hours from any given moment probably adds more overhead to the database than I care to spend
b) to simply reset at 12am means the daily hit totals are far more suceptible to inflation than the system currently in place.

So, as a test run, we're going to try "popular updated" as a catagory, meaning that it's a list of the last 10 high-traffic sites that have been updated.

High-traffic: roughly the top 10% of the galleries in terms of site traffic. The current set has about 70 galleries in it, subject to change.
