Does using paypal require funds in account or a linked credit card to pay? Thanks.

That's the official word. The short version is that they do ask for a credit card or a link to a bank account from which they can withdraw funds for a transaction.

Ok. Thanks. So does Mandarake or anyone overseas see this information if you use a credit card through paypal?

Not to my knowledge. They get the Paypal e-mail that you paid their Paypal account.

If you choose to pay with your credit card through the Mandarake website, then it's possible that someone, somewhere, views that information. My bank always flags the transaction when I go this route as well. But I've never had any problems with Mandarake or any mysterious charges on my credit card from their end. It's in their best interest to be a good business - they deal with thousands of dollars of artwork on a daily basis.
