Mods to prevent spammers?

Are there any moderators that regularly check the forums? It seems like a lot of spam gets posted here and stays up for a while. I'll be glad to help out if it's needed, and I'm sure others would, too.

I have forwarded it to Jason but have yet to get a response.

If there were a few people could clean up the forums, it would save a lot of hassle. That way Jason wouldn't have to be bothered with it each time, and we'd be able to get rid of spammers and their links more effectively.

As for myself I posted twice the same post (thinking it bugged) and I'd love for someone to remove one of those two posts ;)

So I'm totally agreeing with the idea.
