Then there is Perfect Blue, which started my Satoshi Kon obsession. If you like noir/psychological thrillers, this is the movie for you! I was lucky enough to meet/work with him when he attended Big Apple Anime Fest (BAAF) in 2003. I was working the autograph booth, and I remember bringing my Perfect Blue in. Maruyama signed it, but Satoshi Kon just signed a Tokyo Godfathers poster and drew on it for me. That was one of the best days of my life!
