Looking for a start ;)

Hello everyone !

I?m new to this hobby and eager to start building my own collection.

I?ve read some stuff and this sure sounds like my kind of hobby but forgive me for asking "stupid" questions or maybe even for bad grammar ;)

I understand that most/many "new" anime is made with computers instead of the old way and then no real cels comes from that series ? :?(

Please explain exactly what can be obtained from a anime like that and please point me in the right way to start getting my first few pieces for a collection up and running.

My choice to start with since I know this will only be the start of something way to easy to drain my money away ...

... is Ikki Tousen.

Please help me get the wisdom and tools to get this show started.

Any collectors here willing to part with one or a few of their ikki tousen items ? (Doug, Gold knight, Lone Turtle, ...) ;) !?

I have a ikki tousen GG in my misc section if interested.

However cg anime does not use paint or rarely should I say, the most you can obtain is production sketch such as genga, douga, rough sketch, correction sketch so on.

Yes, that's right. The most you can get are cg- setti, roughs, gengas, corrections sheets, etc.

The computer does all the animation, leaving the artists with just sketching out scenes and characters. I have several sections in my collection that come from CG, or computer-animated series that showcase what I just mentioned.

I will agree that obtaining art from some of these cg series isn't easy. But, it's definitely worth it if you enjoy the series.
