I don't really like BT in general but I think every cel collector would get a kick out of this. It's a somewhat-parody of life in an animation production studio.

A BitTorrent client can be downloaded at http://www.sourceforge.com, among other places. Look on the lefthand sidebar.

Work continues on the site. Been a bit busy lately. I'll try to get to features, e-mail, and other stuff piling up sometime this weekend.

Actually I use torrent files all the time to download stuff, mostly from www.suprnova.org and then run it through my shareaza.

It should work pretty fast. I mean I use only 1 port do to keeping up my firewall and it goes to like 50 kbps. So just think of what happens when your firewall is down and all your ports are open. woo!

The first time I saw suprnova I nearly peed my pants. My pc was full of dvd rips, movies, anime, tv shows, you name it (well everything except music, cause I am all paranoid now) in dvd quality. I mean you can download movies that are 2+ gigs big (I think Pirates of the Caribbean was 2,300MB).
I now had to buy an extra 250GB hard drive, plus a dvd burner just for this crap:

If you don't have a DSL or better connection, you're going to be sitting there or leaving your pc on forever while it downloads. I mean if you want the dvd rip type quality, each one is close to 200MB each episode! it makes me cry. However they have cd quality ones too that only run at like 30+MB each as well, (or another Pirates of the Caribbean that was only 700MB).

But it's the only way for me to see all this anime... well other than spending lots of money for a dvd with 3 epi's on it. Or getting lucky on the international channel... or waiting until God knows when on Cartoon Network.

I also use a program called WASTE. That works well for downloading anime, or anything from other people's hard drives. It's encrypted so like the gov. can't read what you're doing, info just bounces all over the place. yeay! But you can DL anything.

All I ever do is download now that I am getting better... oh and buy figures. Damn... I need a woman.

But, I say you should give it a whirl. Took me about 10 mins or less to set up. Once I did I was already downloading the spiderman episodes from MTV... the shading is awesome on that show.
