Correction Layer?

My Utena cel from Anime Taro arrived today. Its from episode 23 where she has Mikage pinned to the ground. Its cel #47 and I found what I believe is a correction layer.Im just fascinated because I have never encountered one before and there was nothing mentioned about it in the description. It was slightly stuck in the upper left hand corner but I managed to carefully seperate the two.[Never done that before and I don't plan to again if anything else is stuck!I got lucky! No damage at all!]It also came with the matching sketch. My question is do I keep the two together in the cel bag and book or must I seperate the two layers? The only reason I seperated the two in the first place is due to the correction being slightly off causing a double vision effect.I realigned the two layers so they match before I placed them back in the bag.

If it was stuck to begin with, it'll stick again if you keep them in the same bag. So, if you want to keep them in the same bag, make sure that they're aligned properly! Otherwise, I'd stick them in two separate bags. ^_^

You can keep the two layers in the same bag(Polypropelene is the material you're looking for) as long as you place them in two seperate bags(or you use one side of the bag to seperate the layers). I prefer to keep my seperate layers in two different bags, but I have a lot of plastic bags to do that. If you don't have a lot of bags or don't want to spend the money on them, using one side of the bag is fine. My advice is, unless there is the threat of impending damage to the cel(ie. placed against a newly painted dark background, severe moisture inbetween layers), I would not seperate the layers.

I shall take you advice on this matter since you have far more experience than me.

I was also wondering how many cels I would have to have in order to open my gallery?I have many cels but they are either in Florida where I don't have access to them or they are with me and I don't have a scanner.Would four or five cels be enough to open up my gallery?
