WTB Cels: Last Unicorn & StarBlazers

Hi,

I am trying to find cels for The Last Unicorn movie as well as Star Blazers and I am having a bear of a time. Is there anyone out there that sells these? So far the closest I've found is one shop that sells a handful of Last Unicorn cels for between $500 and $2500 (maybe more). Is that really the going price for The Last Unicorn!?! Other than that I've found nothing for TLU and virtually nothing for Star Blazers....

Any help would be appreciated...

From what I have heard and seen the prices you have seen for The Last unicorn is right on. For some reason art from that show goes for high prices. As far as Star Blazers (Yamato) goes there are always quite a few pieces up for sale on Yahoo Japan. Every once in a while I will see some on ebay too. I hope this helps.

There are still some domestic cel dealers with Star Blazers cels for sale - try searching under "YAMATO" the orig. name of the show since I never see them listed under Starblazers.

You can try Nichibei Anime, Art-Toons, Assylum Anime, Nikaku Animart & Anime-Link. You can still find them kinda cheap since neo-collectors want new shows which are genga only, so you have to be 35+ to desire Star Blazers these days and the dealer may want to unload these older shows.

You can also look at my Yamato cel gallery, I have about 60 in there. It helps that my upstairs neighbor is Voyager Ent. who puts out StarBlazers on DVD (^__^)
