I probably do pump numbers a bit, especially when I'm planning an update and I want to remind myself of what I've said about cels/sketches that are going to be before and after the new arrival. (I like to keep my items in the order in which they appear in the series.) And of course, whenever I do any uploading or updating descriptions, I always open another tab or window and look at the items in "gallery" mode.
But I don't think that's relevant here, as the things I'm looking at are rarely those at the top of my "most visited" list. (Golly, I've almost forgotten what that "nude bank" of CC Sakura looks like.) At most it keeps some of the active but rarely visited galleries (Tree of Palme, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club) perking along a single click per item per month or so, and not the whole gallery either, but just where the new piece is going in.
Nah, Ted, people are busting you. We all have our Smaugish sides (mine is right where my tail sprouts out of my behind) and so we like to tease each other about it.
Perhaps you've mistaken me for someone whose wit is not as dry as... um, let's go with "Steve Fossett's corpse".
hey!
i've had the same thing going on with my sketches for the past year or so. one of my sketches, which had very little attention when it debuted in 2006, is now my #1 on my Top Ten list with over 1500 hits and counting. My famed M9 henshin cel is not too far behind with 550 hits...and then the rest drops variably with the lowest range being 20 to 2 for the rest of my stuff.
i tried a Google image search as well to check for traffic and couldn't really pull up much either. i think someone is either obessesed with an electricuted Sailor Moon sketch, reproducing urls or images behind my back, or just really loves our stuff. :P lol
if you find a way, i'd like to hear more about it. :)
