This morning I sent a feedback message to another RS curator and soon after got a nasty message from the curator's email service saying that my message had been "blocked for abuse."

I followed the link, and the gist of it said that when one uses a "small or questionable" email service, one risks mixing your legitimate message with a high proportion of spam coming from other users of the same service. "If the proportion of spam to good mail from a particular sender is high (which you will have no control over)," the explanation continues, "*all* messages from that sender's address may get blocked including yours."
Is AT&T being tetchy (as opposed to techy) or is there really a large amount of spam now coming from RS feedback? (Or is the server that RS uses becoming compromised?)
An unpleasant side-effect is that the nasty message also discloses the recipient's real e-mail address, so that if I really were a spammer I could now inundate that poor person with penis-enlarging BOGO offers.
