Loveless cels - repro or rilezu?
I've added two new Loveless cels today. They were sold to me (at a very reasonable price) as reproduction cels, but I'm wondering.
In favor of their being reproduction cels: the seller's description and the fact that they have no sketches with them.
On the other hand, rilezu often don't include sketches. And in this case, the original plastic wrapping has been removed, which leads me to wonder whether the seller is (shudder) selling the sketches separately.
Also, the packaging (light blue border, Parthenon stamp in the lower right) is identical to my known rilezu from this series.
So here's what I'm asking: does anyone know whether there are reproduction cels from Loveless?
As far as I know there are only rilezu. If the bag has been cut it could be he was storing it with the bag open to give it air. I know all my repros, rilezu, etc are stored that way.
Thanks for your response - I haven't seen any repro cels either, so maybe there really aren't any.
Studios tend to choose between repro and relizu. I've never seen a show that has both.
I think that you are generally correct, klet, but I read somewhere that there are both rilezu and reproductions for Pita Ten. And Office F & O has both kinds of cels for Papillon Rose.
