What DVDs do you plan to get?
Just curious.
I'd like to get the Now and Then Here and There box set and Sum of all Fears when it comes out.
I have three half-finished series on the shelf. Someday, I'll buy the rest of the volumes.
Now and Then is the most underrated anime series of the last ten years. Animation is seriously lacking, pacing and story are top notch. Infinite Ryvius probably follows a close second, aside from the bizarre music. Good choice.
Now, Ben Affleck, I dunno. I can't take him seriously. He will be the Tom Cruise of the next generation -- when he tries to be a serious actor, he'll just look lost. (To his credit, I didn't watch the movie yet so I may be wrong.)
Harrison Ford is by far the best Jack Ryan by virtue of the fact that he is Harrison Ford and always gets to kick ass. Timothy Dalton should have been Jack Ryan.... because he sure is a crappy James Bond.

ps - okay, after tomorrow i will no longer feel obligated to respond to every post, no matter how silly.
No jason.. don't leave us! you start some wonderful conversations! NoooOOooOooOoo...
Dvd's? I don't buy those things... O.o
No, seriously... i'd like to ... but... i don't.
I don't like ben affleck either... his face is too big or something. I also don't like seeing him in like EVERY movie. Sum of all fears was good, but it could have been better without ben affleck...
His special friend, Matt Damon, also belongs to the low substance actor group -- although much less so. IMO, the Bourne Identity was a great movie... except for Matt Damon. He was horribly cast as Jason Bourne. He doesn't look or act anything except American. *Maybe* Russian. About a quarter into the movie, he realizes that he has passports from a bunch of foreign countries. The one from Spain looks like a cheapo forgery made by a mall photo-booth.
The guy who sorta looks like Pierce Brosnan who tries to assassinate him halfway in... now *he* looks like he could dissappear in any European country minus the accent and should have been the main character. But alas, Hollywood says he's not Matt Damon, and therefore gets all of 30 seconds of screentime.

I actually *hate* Ben Affleck.
Really, I do.
There's just one *part* that I love so
much that I'd want to sit and watch it frame by
frame over and over again.
Granted, it's a major spoiler so I won't spill it.
