RS Feedback Option Used for Spam?
Another enterprising spammer uses the gallery feedback route:

So if you're interested
Thanks and have a nice day[/quote]
Shouldn't there be some kind of rule about this? I don't mind people using the feedback route to tell me about something specific that they think I'd like to buy. But I do mind this kind of generic "come to my website to see what I have for sale" message.
And ... should the RS site itself be the place to visit for sale items??
I got that one, too. In fact, I got it twice today. :(
Frankly, I don't collect anything that he has up in his gallery, so I don't know why he even bothered to send it to me. I just deleted both messages.
I don't really mind if someone wanted to contact me about a specific cel or group of cels that I might be interested in (as in, I already collect from that series) but it's kind of annoying to get a generic message like this one.
I would not mind getting messages like the one above if they were series i collected.

You know, that's good to know, since I know someone who is looking to sell off his AnC collection. His gallery isn't on RS, and he doesn't really post on Beta, but he was asking what the market is like for the series.
I am still finding that I get daily spam messages sent via my rubberslug feedback. I get up to 3 a day and am coming close to the point of blocking all message from rubberslug. Are we anywhere closer to resolving this problem?
