eBay oddity
Is there something freaking out cel sellers? There was a massive dumping of material on eBay in the last day; 30 of the 55 pages of hits in production art were generated in about an 18 hour period. It's not abnormal for a single seller to make a large dump, but this is mutiple sellers. Mostly sellers with massively overpriced crap. It could simply be coincidence but I was wondering if anyone had any idea what caused this.
it was 20 cent listing day yesterday
Beat me to it...
There's generally a massive "list everything that moves and what doesn't" (not just cels/production art) when eBay does this. They usually decide to inform people of this a day before they're doing it so it becomes a major scramble.

Magiktori is right. And because the listing is at a fixed price, people are selling all sorts of stuff at inflated prices. :P
. . . and I helped contribute to it. Muahahaha!!
>.<
I've always wondered if people take a hit when they list stuff on the $.20 listing days. After all, everyone else lists on those days, and you can only buy so much at once. *shrug*
EDIT: You know, after heading over to Ebay to do a general "anime cel" search, I'd have to say that this time the mad rush to add stuff is worse than normal. Usually, the search brings up about 9 pages, and after $.20 listing day, about 12-15. This time, there's 22. 0.o
