A couple of things not working...
My cels keep getting labeled as opening... I keep changing it back but after a while they keep returning to opening. It's a little annoying because I know I tried to be careful with this...
Next, none of my cels are turning up in the search. I heard it was updated manually so I tried to wait but I think it has not updated for at least 4 months. Can someone please update the search function?
Thank you.
I've had the exact same problem and had to check all my posted cels to make sure they were updated correctly. I'm currently organizing my gallery so when I get sections completed I'm going to have to double check them to be sure they are labeled properly. Anyone have an idea as to why this happens?
Okay, so... since I did a lot of updating lately, I may have a couple of guesses.
I know in my case, my ?OP problem? was caused by one cel that really was from an opening sequence. From that point on, any item that I added was listed as an opening and I had to go back and change it continuously. I had to close the window and reopen a new one, and even then it took a couple of Add Item posts with me manually resetting the type from OP to Normal before the insanity stopped cold turkey. I?m told it also helps to logout and log back in when minor hiccups with the site occurs, however, I?m not sure if this is a similar scenario to yours, HST.
As for cels showing up in the search function, if you don?t use the comment section, the only way to find certain cels is by searching by Animation Titles. If you do have comments that mention the characters or the series (like you do HST) then the only way they show up in an Artwork Search is if ?the magic button? is pressed and that momentous event hasn?t occurred since sometime around September 21, 2006 (I think). Once ?the magic? happens, any collector should be able to search and find your items.
It?s all very complicated and hush-hush and probably has something to do with pixie-dust, faith, and trust. *shrug* I?m sure that the radioactive hamsters that power this site also have something to do with it, but you didn?t get that information from me. ;OP
