Phantom Cel--might need admin help

Okay. Something really strange happened last night when I was updating. I was trying to add this cel:

When I had written everything in the comments section, I hit add, and got a 500 error message stating that the page could not be found.

So, I went back into my account, prepared to type again. Lo and behold, the form was already filled out with what I had typed before the 500 error message. I hit add, and it all worked out peachy.

The problem I'm having now is that a phantom cel has shown up in my HunterXHunter category. On my homepage, it currently says 6, but when you click on the category, there are only 5 cels. The same goes for the "manage artwork" section of my gallery; says 6, but there are only 5. No double or blank entries, and nothing in my trash can.

It's not a huge problem. More of a little nuisance. Is there any way for me to fix this? Short of deleting the category completely and starting over, I mean. I'll do that if it's neccesary.

I'm afraid it's a bug that can't be fixed right now. I'm not sure if deleting the category will work but your welcome to try and see. If it does let me know so we can use that for others that have the same problem.

Alright. I'll be the experiment. It'll have to wait until I have more time to resize the images again, though. ^_^

I actually have a number of those phantom cels: part of the reason I disabled my cel counts. Provided yours behaves the same as mine, you won't be able to delete the category since you can't see the phantom cel to throw it in the trash can. In addition, even if you move all of the other cels to a new category, the old category will still show up on your main page.

Also, you'll want to pay attention to the next and previous cel links...make sure to move all of your cels so that the phantom cel appears at the end of the line (so you have only one broken link, and all of your normal cels still connect).

You can see some of my phantom cels in action in my Ah! My Goddess or Bleach sections (check out the last item and look for the "Sei Jushi Bismark?"--this is a cel I had problems adding a long time ago.)

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess I should do the manual series deletion request too... whenever I stop being lazy. :D

Thanks for the heads up. Since I only had five cels in that section, I went ahead and deleted them all and am waiting for soemone with the power to manually delete the section so I can start over. ^_^
