Where to buy Spirited Away Lmd. Ed. Cels

I would really like to purchase a hand painted Limited Edition cel from Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away, but have looked and looked and am not finding any...So, does anyone know where they can be purchased?
Thank you.

I think the only place you can get one of those is from the Ghibli museum in Japan...unless someone puts one on Ebay. Check out this link: www.rubypersson.com
On this site there are limited cels from Mononoke and Kiki. Maybe they can help track down one for you. Expect to pay around $700-$1000 though. You might be better off commissioning someone to do a "Fan Cel" for you. Good luck!!

Thanks for the link and info. Checked out the website and the cels looked great, but a little above what I was hoping to pay. Guess will have to wait for one to pop up here or on E-Bay. Thank you.

I use to own 4 of those. They are not handpainted, but silk-screened. Spirited Away had no production cels, but was CG. I think that those anime art pieces (Spirited Away) were also created like the editions made by Ghibli (Totoro repo's, etc.) and were sold through Ghibli Studios at the Ghibli museum. Ruby sold the other Ghibli silk-screened repos, like Princess Mononoke Hime, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc. She is a great person btw, and was the original N. American Distributor for those items. They are actually quite nice in person. You couldn't officially buy them in Japan, however after I got my hands on them, I sold all of mine to Japanese collectors. I believe that most if not all of those she had are sold out already. Sometimes on Yahoo Japan auction site you might see one of those Spirited Away reproductions come out, like once or twice a year.

Thanks E for the additional info. Wow, I didn't realize that they are so hard to get. Will have to keep a look out for the cels. It's a shame that there are no production cels available...I wonder what happened to all the original pencil sketches for the film?
Thank you both for sharing your information.
