Has anyone seen this new film...

"Gedo Senki" ?

This new Ghibli film was directed (debut) by Goro Miyazaki,the son of Hayao Miyazaki. There are some decent reviews out so far, but I'm curious to know if anyone has checked it out yet?

Btw, dad Miyazaki was none too happy that his son has taken up with making animation...

I haven't seen it yet, but probably will once it comes out on DVD.

I guess the issue here is whether you're expecting it to be an accurate representation of her books or not. Since I haven't read the Earthsea books, it won't matter a lot to me, but it might to others.
