Bandai Unveils Giant Gundam Model

[b]Size Matters--Gundam Otaku still live!![/b]

"Bandai has announced plans to sell a giant 1.5 meter tall (1/12 scale) RX-78-2 Gundam model. The figure will be released in December and retail at a price of 350,000 yen (including sales tax)."

"Five years in the making, this giant model kit's official title is the Hyber Hybrid Model 1/12 RX-78-2 Gundam (HY2M 1/12 Gundam for short), and is being marketed at male fans ages 20-40. It will be the largest RX-78-2 Gundam created for retail sale ever."

"The kit is to be displayed at next week's (8/19-8/20) C3?~HOBBY Chara Hobby 2006 festival at Chiba's Makuhari Messe, and interested parties are encouraged to take a look. The final product should be an impressive work, and we at Animaxis are considering taking orders for it as well."

The real question is, can small kittens be posed inside the cockpit for anime-themed inspirational posters like the types you find at a dentist's office?

Life sized gundam or trip to Hawaii? Choices, choices.

I'd put potted plants on my Gundam to give him that Eco-friendly look.

Or you can give it the 0080 look when it was hidden in the forest. *LOL*

I kinda only focus with gundam fix figurations these days.

I just did a little research E, so this 1/12 is a already built PG & involves remote control. Sounds impressive, but it proberly wont be sold that well since the large size Zaku only got sold 1500 5yrs ago.

It also seem rather hard to be transported since the missy aint exactly short & consider its partially made of die-cast pieces, must weigh a ton! ~.~
