JACML is the Japanese Anime Cel Mailing List, it is a resource where members discuss cels and cel-related topics. JACML is a FREE resource where collectors can send out in one email a massive shout/ping to the entire group they are selling and/or taking offers on items they have. As the name implies this is primarily for cels, but people do list gengas, dougas, and the ocassional original artwork and hanken.

All members can post to the list as long as they are subscribed. JACML is maintained by Christy Close. There are over 400 collectors and counting!

Generally, do not list repros for sale, unless then are licensed (i.e. Ghibli's) and/or the Rilezu kinds.

Official JACML rules are as follows:
Members of the JACML are expected to follow certain protocol out of consideration for others. Listed here are the basics:

1. Topic
This is the Japanese Animation Cels Mailing List. Please do not send non-cel-related information or conversation to JACML. Off topic conversations between two people that generate from JACML are best handled through email.

2. Spam
Do not send junk email, chain letters, or any other sort of spam to the mailing list. Of course, notices of cel sales and auctions are not spam.

3. Images
Do no send image files to JACML. Instead, post URLs or offer to send images via personal email.

4. Flames
Messages consisting of nothing but foul words attacking other members of the list will not be tolerated.

5. Disclaimer
JACML, Usagi's House, Usagi, Genrou, and Keys are not liable for any misinformation posted on JACML or any deals occuring because of JACML. What you choose to do to and with your cels is your own business and we are not accountable. JACML does not endorse any particular dealer or any particular practice.

Have one of the MOD's drop them a email maybe it will help if it comes from one of the site MOD's.

Well, one of the mods contacted me, and sent an email to the seller. I heard from the seller as to why she doesn't answer her RS mail (claiming spam. I've never gotten a single spam from here. Left out again....) (BTW - the little math calculation thingy is interesting. Rubs nicely against my fear-of-math-failure!).

Two replies from me later, she still hasn't said whether the cel is available. So I emailed the mod on the last one. I'll give it a few more days and then, if nothing, will let her know the would-be relationship is over -

Well at least now you know the user is still alive and checking emails. Pity though they aren't cutting to the chase and providing a direct answer to your obvious concerns. I agree, give them one more email and if nothing comes forth... you might be better off walking away from the situation and salvaging your time.
