Backgrounds
Hi,
I was wondering if it was ok to upload cels in my gallery but using the backgrounds that can be found on the resources of the website? obviously I'll make a note saying that the background does not belong to me. Yet I want to know if it's ok to use them or not.
Thanks!
I thought thats what they were for? At least that's why I uploaded a couple, so people could use them as backgrounds for both framing on a wall and displaying here on rubberslug.
I think as long as you put 'unmatching background from rubberslug' or something similar no one could possibly have a problem.
Then again, I could be wrong. The FAQ sorta doesn't address this and describes backgrounds for printing and displaying. Doesn't really cover using them here, which might be an ommission.

Either way, why would someone complain if you used a shared background that they provided for other people to use as long as you give them credit?

Just wanted to make sure because maybe they were good just for printing them and putting them with your cels but not uploading them here in your gallery.
Thanks for your post.
I think as long as you give credit, you're golden. ^_^
I've seen galleries with borrowed backgrounds from the background gallery, so it should be fine.
's what it's for, eh?
