Cleaning cels

Hi everyone! ^_^

I just got my Kaykuu cel a week ago and, thanks to Roy's advice, *glomps you* it unstuck itself from the background--courtesy of alot of humidity this week. :P

I was wondering if it is possible to clean the cel without damaging it and the original paint? I have had some mild success today removing some of the purple paint which damaged it--but I am being [b]extremely[/b] cautious about it. In addtion, I am very grateful that none of the original paint has been removed.

Any tips?

*me wonders if my non-toxic, non-abrasive "Master's brush cleaner/preserver or hand-soap" that i use to remove paint stains when i paint would do the trick* hmmm...
