dealer tag?
Hello, I've been quiet lately because I'm tied up in a big move right now.
I don't know if this would be helpful, but it just occurred to me: should we, as a community, agree on a list of cel dealers who have accounts on this site and assign them little "dealer" or "vendor" tags (similar to our admin and moderator tags, but without any special powers) to let any new people not familiar with the usual suspects know where to go to actually find stuff other than eBay and Yahoo Japan?
We'd probably leave the list of dealers up to the group of mods, since all of them have many, many years experience in collecting. Besides, they always have to be the bad guys these days and that's not really fair. Everyone should write a poem to their favorite moderator.
In any case, I think it's important that the community get to know the frequent suppliers as the vast majority of our collections depend in part on their businesses. I suppose that depends on whether or not this would be seen as favoritism. I'd say there are more benefits than drawbacks.
I agree. I think it's a great idea!!
You keep us in line

You are a mod:

This sounds like a good idea. I'm curious, how many dealers are members of RS?
Capital Idea.
A little flag for dealers is a very good idea.
One vote for, 'YES'. O_O"
