Search question

Just curious, how does the Search function work?
Specificly for Artwork.

I know this may sound like stupid question, but I've noticed that sometimes a search will show artwork not related to the keyword, but is in the results because the keyword is in the comments.

Then I'll visit a gallery and see artwork with same keyword in title, yet does not appear in search results.

Is it just me, am I thinking about this too much? Or is there a priority system with new additions getting a delay? Magic?

Like I said, just curious, if there's no simple answer then I'll just move on ^_^

The gallery search is always up to date; the artwork search is manually updated.
