Sizing Thumbnails
Hi,
I am having trouble sizing my Thumbnails on my newly created site. They are all too big. Im sure I will have heaps of other questions, Im learning by my mistakes!!!
Thanks in advance,
Damien
If you don't know how to resize, I would suggest using Rubberslug's built-in thumbnail maker.
1. Go to "My Account," then "Manage Artwork."
2.Pick the section in which you want to change the thumbnail and click on it.
3.Pick the cel you want to change and click "Edit."
3. Go down to the bottom of the page and click "Change Images" (there is a "Make Thumbnail" button here, but if I remember correctly, it doesn't work >.<)
4. Delete your current thumbnail
5. Click the "Make Thumbnail" button.
Voila, Rubberslug does all the work for you. ^_~ The only time you should have to resize images for your thumbnails is if you decide to digitally add something to the thumbnail (i.e. frames).
The next time you upload a cel, don't put anything in the thumbnail slot. Rather, upload your large image and sketch slot images. Then click "Make Thumbnail."
Hope that helps. Post again if you have any questions. ^_^
Don't sweat it, I learned (am still!) by mistakes too. ^_^
Definitely the easiest way is to use that "make thumbnail" button like Klet said.
Welcome to rubberslug!
do worry! you'll get it right! :)
Personally, I make my own thumbnails using Microsoft Picture It! 7.0 I also edit and touch up my scans with it too.
Klet and Leah have given u a simplier solution though :)
