What's up with Anime-Beta?

AB is down for me, what a pain, but it is okie... I prefer RS anyways! :)

Oh as for Animanga, gods the drama, the flame wars and the annoying as hell smartasses. Back then it was a no man's land... still is really. But if you actually took the time to research using the search feature you'd be amazed at some of the beauties people shared in their posts!

Well before all of the deputy services, AB, and RS existed Animanga forums gathered some richest blackhole collectors on the Net. If you have time I highly recommend reading some of the old posts on cel preservation, advice, cel hunting, people's collections and you'll learn a lot about the dealers too.

The good, bad and extremely ugly came out on the Animanga forums... it really wasn't all that bad if you come to think about it and Yann provided some of the best cels around for reasonable prices, considerably moreso than most current dealers.

You should remove any cookies you have from the dot com site, as those old ones will log you off the dot net.

It might have something to do with the site move . . . I'm not sure. If I remember correctly, either one of the mods or the admin has to approve all accounts before you can officially join or post. This is mainly a feature to prevent spam accounts.

Are you trying to sign up with a hotmail or gmail email account? The spam attempts (basically fake accounts set up by spam bots) got so bad with those particular email providers that Magician disabled the ability to register if you try to use one of them.

I had read about the ban of the hotmail accounts because when you get the rules of the board on the screen that's one of the things mentioned, so I have tried to register with my gmail account but nothing. What happens so far is that I feel all the blank fields and when I submit the form I get the form back as if some of the fields were empty, when in fact all of them are filled. I'll wait for some time until things get a bit more normal because I can understand all the work that is moving the whole website. Thanks for your help! :)
