Slugfest 2 at Anime Expo 2006

Sounds like I missed a great time! I even missed Poe by a few minutes at Blacklot's booth on the last day. *sniff* :(

However, I did meet quite a few RSers (and I tried to recruit new RSers too) as I wandered the halls and in the dealer's room.

Yup GB, I visited and loitered for hours at a time at all of the cel dealers and even the vendors that weren't specializing in cels, but had some anyways! You'd be amazed at how many vendors had a few cels but weren't dealers.

sheesh... we need RS bandannas or capes or something! I know a magical bell or sensor that goes off whenever another RSer or ABer is nearby! *Har!!*

Actually, maybe something like a pin to wear while visiting the dealers table would work. I know I only really met a couple of people, and I was at Slugfest! There is no telling how many RS members I stepped around at a dealer's table with no clue who they were. I would just recommend we wear our hats, but not everyone is going to want to do that, especially if they are costuming.

A pin might go too easily unnoticed. I still vote for the bandanna which is FLEXIBLE and VERSITILE enough to be tied around an arm, hand, neck, and/or worn on your head. However a bandanna is not large or heavy enough to be a burden. Also, if we used something distinct with the letters RS and some niffy logo/colors, I think we can id each other relatively easily.
