Trimming Copy backgrounds?

Obviously, the trimming of an Original Background is a big No No. What about Copy Backgrounds? The WB cels come with good quality photo backgrounds but are sometimes a little large. Any thoughts?

Hello Mark,
I have seen a number of folks fold the extra under the copy background and it seemed to work well and you can not see the folds if it's in a frame.
You can take a extra matte board and put it on the back and fold it over the edges of the board and this will keep from putting a sharp bend in the paper,So if you need to unfold the background it does not show the bends as bad.
I hope this helps you out some.
