Private area text
When someone clicks on an image in a gallery, it goes to a page asking for the password, and there is the text at the bottom
"Please enter the gallery password to access full-size scans in this gallery"
People keep emailing me asking for full-size scans, even though I don't upload large scans on Rubberslug. No matter how many times I try to put on my site that I don't, people keep emailing.
Is there any way I can disable this?
I don't think there is a way to disable that. But it is a good idea. So many people don't use certain parts of their gallery (the wishlist is the one that comes most readily to mind) that it would be a good thing to be able to disable those parts of your gallery. Just a thought.
Yep, you can disable this. Just go to "Edit Gallery Settings" in your account. From there, choose the "Automatically Scale Images" selection and select NO. Save this, and that should solve your problem ^_^

^Actually, that would just display all of his cels as the size he originally uploaded them as. But thanks, Ralph, b/c that made me realize I was talking about something completely different. >.<
I'm such a ditz. For some reason, I thought you wanted to disable your "Private Area" page.
To get rid of this message: "Please enter the gallery password to access full-size scans in this gallery," what you want to do is:
1. Go to "My Account"
2. Click on "Edit Gallery Settings"
3. The second option from the bottom is "Password Protect;" select "No" for that option.
Basically, what will happen now is that when people clink on your cels/sketches, a new window will open up with the image you uploaded in the "large image" slot. If that happens to be 360 pixels, then so be it.
Any text you entered into the "private comments" area when you uploaded, including purchase date, cost, supplier, and condition will still remain hidden and will require a password to access. Most people don't ask for your password, however, unless you specifically state that you have cels hidden, or you have your large images/sketches password protected.
Hope that helps. ^_^

LOL no problemo klet ~_^ The reason I recommend doing it the way I described though is so that there wouldn't be an option to click the image for a larger scan (I think that's what MacKettric wanted). Since the cels are already displayed as he originally uploaded them, and there is no "clicky" available for a larger scan, nobody will have to bother clicking his cels to only find the same size scan in the new window. That's the benefit to not automatically scaling images. But I see that your way would work too ^.^
