Embedded video-- what do you guys think?
I thought that I'd raise this before it comes up..
I have placed some "embedded video" from Google on my home page as an experiment (*It will only be up for a day):
Of course I used Battle Angel (for those that know me) *
----------------------------------------------
*Edited out BA link- *Link dismantled* 24hrs/times up. It was a bit intrusive, although I left the other two links up.
----------------------------------------------
Any opinions?
Should this be okay?
Should it be banned?
(includes audio)
I'm a big USC football fan:
On the my "About" page there is a vid of Reggie Bush that is awesome:

Or for some comic relief on my feedback page :

Looks great,I have no problem with an embedded video. As long as it is short, and has a clickable start button like you've posted. Personally I HATE it when a video or music just launch into the sound unexpectedly! Anime licensing issues could be another problem.
I know some have small soundless screen captures posted with their cels from the sc scene. That's cool!

Looks cool to me, I know some even have videos (not gifs) inbedded on their cel pages to show the cel sequence...all looks good to me though! ^_^
Love the BA AMV w/System. Nice choice.
I like the idea - might as well try it until the masses say different.

the embedded video from Google works fine ... but I personally don't like to have such a operating-frame under it (don't know exactly how to call it) ... that's why I prefer video presentations without it ...
