This is the same person that sent the NOOOO!!!!! feedback. WTF? "

I can verify that this person does not have an RS account or gallery so it must a person with no life but is alive and not a spam robot which caused most of our problems hence can answer the addition question which stopped the 3 to 4 spam emails I would get each day.

Mods is there anyway to trace the IP address for the feedback sent via RS?

As far as Feedback I'm not sure. Jason may have to answer that one. Mod's can bring up the IP of the gallerys but since the system lets visitors comment via feedback without setting up an account I am not sure how to track them.

Yes, but IP addresses are not magical. If you would like, I can pretend like I am writing this message from Thailand.

If you want some vigilante action, then sure, it's a good lead to figure out which machine you want to remove from the interweb. But if you want legal action, then probably not worth the bits it flipped.

The best thing to do is tell yourself, "Hey, it's just an e-mail... let me know when e-mail technology has advanced to the point where people can e-mail rabid wombats and then we can worry."

The moral of the story/soapbox here is that technology can solve most problems... except at great, great cost. Better to simply keep the problem itself in perspective. The great failure of our society are the widely-held beliefs that good people outnumber bad people and idiocy is finite. When you encounter it, just shrug it off. I find that I stay happier that way.
