Reducing the size of a picture

I am trying to figure out why my picture on my home page is so huge. I really don't want it that big. How do I fix this.

To resize your picture, you would have to do this on your computer. I'm not sure what program you're using to scan your image in, but there's a good chance you might be able to resize it using that.

It's called Paint Shop Pro. I think Adobe has a smaller version of Photoshop called Photoshop Elements. Look for it on their site at http://www.adobe.com. You might also be able to download an evaluation version for that.

Finally, if you go to http://www.download.com and just do a search for image editing applications, there's half a dozen of them -- many of them free -- that can resize images for you.
