Exposing people to new J-music
Ive been really disappointed in Japanese music lately.. Most people tend to hover around the pop stuff that increasingly likens itsself to modern Western pop and I cant stand that. OP and ED songs are getting lamer by the series.
About four years ago, I became obsessed with jrock when I bought an unusual ufo plush at a con. He had the cutest wild red hair and expression. I had no idea what he was from, but I investigated him from the info on the tag. His name was Hide and he was a Visual Kei shock rocker who died in '98.
Since then, Ive delved deep into the world of underrated and unknown to the rest of the world Japanese music amassing a huge collection and variety music from metal to pop to happy showtunes.
Now, I want to share some of the great stuff Ive found.
Im thinking about doing a song of the week type thing where Ill upload one so people can sample it.
Would that interest you?
Yes!
I would love to sample more jpop/rock. I've only listened to a few and would like to branch out.
I would be interested! ^_^
I sure would be interested! :)
...Especially if you get your hands on music featuring Myuji!! *drool*
Myuji??
lol, Ive got music from 200+ artists, but I dunno who that is.
Tell me a bit more and I can find something.
