Sorry, not enough benefit to bother adding a special little switch just for that. Besides, I don't personally think that's an improvement. Ideally, you would want to be able to choose between

You can see my point. Maybe someday there will be a universal date formatter... but it would probably be too complicated for the average user of this site. (i.e. anyone who is not familiar with c-string formatting and/or unix timestamps).
