I'm having a problem w/setting up my gallery. None of the pictures I have uploaded are showing in my gallery. What am I doing wrong? All of the images are jpg. Please help!! Thanks!
Rubberslug is experiencing technical difficulties right now (see home page). Until Jason makes an announcement otherwise, expect strange behavior on this site. :)
Hiya Lilahrenee,
The problem you have is your pics are to big you need to resize them to 530 pixels wide max.
You don't have to make your thumb nails the edit page has a button for that.
Here is how you do it.
First: make your pics smaller to 530 pixels wide save as jpg.
Next: sign in to your RS account this will take you to the my account page.
next: click the manage artwork link on that page.
next: scroll down to the first page name and click on it.
next: you will see each pic and some words on the right next to it,click edit on the first pic this will take you to the edit page for this pic.
next: after the page loads you will see a yellow word delete above the pics click it and delete the pics.
Next: add the new smaller pic link and reload the first pic in the large image slot and hit change images button, after it down loads hit the make thumbnail button and after it down loads, then hit the change images button to make sure it took.
next: load your drawing pic links or you can use this slot for a large pic because it opens in a new window and not on your gallery page and hit change images button.
next: click on the my account button and then manage artwork button and start all over once more going to the next pic on the first page until you do this to all of them and then go to the next page ect,ect until your done.
If the thumb nail maker does not work for you sign out and sign back in, It has a bug and can goof up every now and then.
I hope this helps you out some, this will get your pics right in the gallery so you can see them at the right size.

Roy's right. Your pictures are showing up for me, but they're just too darn big. Bigger pictures take longer to load, so I'm guessing that you have a slower internet connection than me.
The best way to resize your pictures is through the scanning software you have. When you resize, make sure to change the unit of measurement to pixels. You only need to resize once, then make the thumbnail as Roy descirbes in the post above mine.
More than likely, your scanner came with some software that allows you to manipulate pictures to some degree. Use this software to resize.
Let us know if you need more help.
EDIT: Actually, on taking a second peek at your gallery, it looks like you mixed up the thumbnails and the larger scans. I'm getting huge thumbnails, little pics when I click on a thumbnail, and huge scans when I click again. Regardless, the huge scans that you are using are just too big.
