Cannot find server or DNS Error?????????
Hiya Jason,
I have been having problems loading pics,The text loads ok but the site will not let me load pics, Is this a RS server problem or does the ISP gods have something to do with this?
I get a "Cannot find server or DNS Error"
when I try to upload pics.
I used two different local ISP's to see if it maybe my service but the same thing happens on both, I did get one to load today but after that one it went back to not letting me upload pics?
As you can see it let me load this text and I can go to all the other parts of RS and the weblog pages.
I know the big boy ISP's were fighting, Is this from them or something on RS?
Thanks for the help.
Roy
There appear to be other problems still remaining as well. I found out that the new user page doesn't work right now either and gives the same error. I'll look into this one as well.
I just tried to upload something and I can do it, but I bet yours it still broken. I'm not sure why but I'm looking into it.
At this point, I don't know who screwed up, but I know that I can fix this one if I really have to. I found a workaround for the new user page but I'm not going to do it unless I have to.

Yep still broken link.
I don't know if it helps but about every 3rd or fourth time I try to upload a pic I get a popup window that says "trying to connect to win32 generic host"?
If you need it here is what is on my computer
I use internet explorer.
System:
Windows XP home edition ver.2002 with service pack 2 with all updates.
The computer is a HP Pavilion
Intel (R)
chip is a Celeron CPU runs at 2.60 GHZ
248 MB Ram.
I have Norton Antivirus,Norton Personal Firewall and use Microsoft Antispyware and I think both of my ISP's use a firewalls also, type not known.
I don't know if this info will help but there it is.
I'm in no hurry so take your time,If you need me to upload so you can see what happens let me know and I'll zap you over a pic file to the system so you can trace it.
Thanks for looking into this Jason!
