Wonky update recognition?

Updating my gallery, I found that the update was registering in some places, but not others. In the Manage Artwork section of My Account, the update was recognized. However, on the main page did not show my site; it did show a site that had been updated 6 minutes after mine (Doug's Cels). The recently updated galleries page also didn't show my gallery. And the list of galleries under T didn't show my gallery as updated today. It does show my updated gallery text, however. This information is all still accurate about a half hour after the update.

The update was creating a new series by populating it with a cel.

The update thing will throw you a curve ball once in awhile.
I've had this happen to me a few times I think it's a bug in the system.
