Chat room notification?

Just curious... how hard would it be to create a configurable sound or something for a chat event? I've missed more people in the room simply because I was reading a web page and didn't know they are there ^^;

Reloading the page triggers a visual signal in windows, but that would hamper the chat experience.

If I recall chat did have a "beep" when each post was made but it really slowed down the room and caused other problems so it was removed.

Hey, yeah, about the chat room. For a while I coud access it on PCs but now Ive switched back to a Mac and theres still NO way to access the damn thing. It keeps coming up with error messages. Why cant it be made more compatibe w/Safari?

I'm sure if you buy Jason a mac he'd be willing to look into it ;-)

Try Firefox. I'm assuming that it should be the same across all platforms. Until there's a Safari build for PC, I won't be testing on it.
