Cel Preservation

I'm relatively new to cel collecting but questions have already been brought up in my mind as to how to keep my few cels safe. I've read some tutorials and they all seem to encourage you to buy one of those cel books to keep them in. However, being poor, I can't get past the fact that after shipping one of those can cost you as much as a whole new cel! Does anyone have ideas for cheaper alternatives?
Oh, and about fading . . . how fast will my cels fade if kept in a normally lit room?

Thanks to everyone in advance for help!

The cel book, porfolio, or binder with plastic sleeves, IS the cheapest form of cel care that I can recommend. You should have a cel book before you have cels ^-^. Here are a few helpful resources online, make sure that you copy and save these links below. They will prove of great value later if you feel or decide to want to take good care of your "investments":

If you only have normal sized cels and aren't able to go to art stores to get Itoya books, you can try fabric and craft stores for Memory Books. They are hard cover, 12x12, acid free, and cost about $15, if memory serves. What brand you buy isn't really important, just make sure it is acid free, and keeps your cels away from light.
