Feature Gallery Problems

Ryan try reminding that this site is free to someone else. If you're going to post a response try to respond to what I am asking , not to your imaginery friend that is demanding to get featured.
Since I've never submitted my gallery to be featured before I didn't know what I was supposed to do afterwards. That's why I was asking. I wasn't demanding anything. The only thing I was hoping for was a response from somebody that had their gallery posted to tell me what to expect like if I was going to receive an email before it was featured or not, etc.. If somebody responded and said " you won't get an email and the waiting period to be featured is a year" let's say, so be it. If somebody told me that it takes a month to get featured than I would ask Jason if he even received my submission and if I should re-submit since it's past a month.
If you're going to respond do it to what's there not what's not.

This reminds me of the "good ol days"...

Are you guys really "expecting" stuff? Whoa, where did that administrator go?? lol.. I am tellin you if you think that someone is actually here and listening to any of this day by day, AND.. reacting to it... oh boy do you (rhetorically speaking) have a wake up call a commin'' =)

Lets get real.

You guys don't need to protect jn, or make excuses, or attack each other.. really. Don't get on a waiting list or anything, I am suggesting in the most loving way that I can.. Take a few deep ones and inhale and exhale, then relax and realize the fact that it may NEVER get done..That is a possibility afterall.

Only out of the kindness of his (jn's) heart does he continue to pursue those updates. I would have crashed out years ago.

Not that I am dissin or saying it won't happen, but odds are that trying to time these events or any of these changes will only make you look like a duffus =)

Hey, it isn't important anyway. Things change, and those updates will disappear for everyone. I even have one image circulating that needs to be taken down.. since it doesn't belong to me anymore. I don't mention it because I know it will do no good to do so =)

Cause your singing to the choir here, it's not important stuff. I'd much rather see you getting along then worrying about the impossible =)

Thanks JWR, we all know we will have to be patient, just useful knowing whether they got our emails that's all. Take your time Jason, no rush or pressure at all *sheathes sword*

I guess I'll mark NEVER down in my diary, for now I'll look forward to that day! ^_^

Perhaps a better solution (at some point in the probably distant future) would be to allow members to upload their "featured" image from their account.

Anytime you can automate something on a site like this is always better for admins. The images might need an "approval" process or something like that, but clicking on a button to say "yes, that's okay" is much less time than trying to create images for every single featured request.

I actually send a request to change my featured image, so I'm probably in the backlog of requests as well. ^_^;;
