Otakon 2005 Rubberslug Gathering?

I know that there is a cel panel in the works, and that a potential Anime-Beta gathering is scheduled...

Would anyone be interested in an additional Rubberslug gathering? I know our fearless leader cannot attend, but is anyone else interested?

I can send a few shirts or hats to give away in any fashion the organizer(s) see fit. Lemme know. Perhaps some of the east coast personalities might be able to attend. If not, feel free to have an Anime Beta person contact me. It seems silly to have two thingies unless you just like drinking. (It's never bad to have an excuse to drink.)

When is the beta one? My offer to host Slugfest east adult bevie get together still stands. Or are you talking about my BlueShinma post on beta? I haven't made any solid plans past the panel but I was thinking of your suggestion of Friday night. If we have too many folks to be held in my room with pizza and beer we can see about moving to one of the local establishments I could drive up next week some time and do a little recon, I know of at least one really cool place within walking distance of the con. I'm just worried about finding space on a Friday night. If you take care of gathering the guests I'll find us a place to be!

Yeah, I was referring to your A-B post. People over there don't seem too interested in planning anything, so I figured I'd move the discussion over here as well.
I'm not sure how many folks are coming (I know that my group will have 5 people), but perhaps if it is too many for a hotel room we could make reservations at a restaurant or bar...?

I'd be interested in a cel meeting at beta. You can look for me at the purple-plum inc booth in the dealers room. It would have to be after the booths close of course.
