Editing my Main Page
Okay, so I wanted to get the content background color to vanish so the words appear directly on the wallpaper. @_@ Any idea on how to do that? Roy and I are stumped!
Thanks!
Do you mean that you want the wallpaper of your gallery to be white so that your text shows up better?
If this is the case, to do that go to your account page and select "Color and Layout Scheme". At the top of this page you can select different areas of your gallery and use the three sliders at the right to change the color for the selected area. You can also select one of the pre-defined color schemes at the bottom of the page if you don't want to set the colors manually.
Ah, I just looked at your gallery. Do you want the black area behind the text to vanish so that your text is written directly on your uploaded wallpaper? That I do not know how to do. Perhaps it may not be possible.
I hoped I helped a little instead of making things worse.
Thanks Mok. :) Yea, I'm trying to get rid of the black area so the background wallpaper shows through. If I can't do that, then eh... I'll have to do some work in Photoshop. @_@ Again.
Howdy.
This is by design. Something which has always been emphasized here is disallowing (as much as is practical) things which might make a site illegible (i.e. text on a background).
We'll probably have some sort of well-hidden "advanced features" tab in the next revision to allow this sort of thing, but much like the background sound thing, there are only a handful of reasons why this should ever be done.
Completely understandable. :) If it does become a feature that can be used in the future, might want to make it mandatory to put a link to where the image came from. Or, have it so that people can only use images of the cels they own.
