I have noticed lately...

That cels are being bought cheap on YJ and then are resold on ebay to make profit? Example:

I
was sorta thinking about bidding on this cel when it was available on YJ a while ago but passed it up. Its starting price was around 1200 or 1500 yen but now look at it on ebay! Could be possible the original seller never sold it and then decided to have a US connection try selling it on ebay.

A lot of collectors and dealers look for bargains on YJ to sell in the US. With deputy service charges and shipping fees there isn't always a lot of profit in it, but on occassion you can find stuff on YJ that will go for really high prices on eBay. Normally it's stuff that's more popular in the States, like recently a lot of Headmaster Transformers cels were bought on YJ and resold on eBay for one heck of a profit.

Guess it's good for the cel market, and it helps get cels one might have missed on YJ to be resold on eBay. I've bought several cels from eBay I missed on YJ or got outbid on a the last moment.

I saw that cel up for auction on YJ as well. A lot of sellers buy multiple cel auctions on YJ and resell them on ebay for a profit.

So even after paying for deputy service fee and shipping, you can still get profits? Wow...
