What do you think of this situation:

Seller has cel for sale up.
I buy cel.
I have it up (my own scan), seller has his down.
Member has modified scan from sellers site on wishlist (modified so that the seller can't be identified - removed URL from pic).

I don't want to throw a tantrum (that'd be so childish). I also don't know how to say in a nice, but clear manner, "Take it down" without sounding harsh. Also, that user has a lot of retouched seller scans up.

Sime advice please?

If I'm understanding you correctly you bought a cel from someone, a third person wanted the cel but didn't buy it they only posted a scan of the cel in their wishlist.
Since they are not claiming to own the cel I wouldn't get too upset. Perhaps you could email them and ask that they link your gallery to the image (free plug for your collection). If you don't want to do that just explain to them that you would rather not have your cel posted on their site.
It is actually quite flattering that one of your cels is on someone's wishlist, as long as they give you credit of ownership.

I think that it is not a bad thing if someone has it on their "wishlist". It is almost as if someone is admiring your cel from a far ^-^.

That said, If it really bothers you however, then you could kindly ask them to take it down. But please remember that there are many sequence sisters out there unless the cel is very, very rare.

Sometimes it is hard to get scans of wishlist cels period, and sometimes people don`t know that someone may actually own the cel, etc. The main thing though is that they are not "claiming it as their own". Anyone can be a fan.

"Sellers/Dealers" can be even more of a bother actually to me. I have one particular cel that I bought months ago, and the seller still has it displayed on there site. I have seen cels that have been sold years ago, still on a persons site,,now that is not kosher to me.

I replied to a topic somewhere that had this same theme to it, but that might have been during one of my narcaleptic daydreams. (long story)

In any case, yes, it would be nice if you could just ask that your site gets a plug. If it's an RS members, there's plenty of room to talk about your wishlist before the actual wishlist or even in the actual wish text itself.

Something like:

"This is the darned coolest thing I've ever seen, but I didn't win ths auction. I'm looking for something from this sequence. Image from Plastic Future (http://plastic.rubberslug.com)."

Certainly a half dozen words and a url wouldn't kill anyone.

If they're just a punk about it, then just ignore it. Not worth the effort, really, is it?
