No More last modified: Tuesday, December 09, 2008 (1:42:55 PM) I know, I know... no posts from me here since May. Lots of stuff going on, none really any good. Those of you that read my LJ know the gist of it.
Anyway, I just wanted to let people here know the following: I will be blocking any and all e-mails from Rubberslug from this day on. Why? Because of the insane amount of spam I get from the site on a daily basis. I've tried contacting RS about it, but never received a message back. (Unless it was labeled like the spam was, at which point, I didn't see it). I''ve changed my Rubberslug email to a junk account having also received up to a dozen spam emails a day via Rubberslug feedback. As soon as I changed the address, the spam immediately all went to this dummy account. It''s a shame considering I never check the junk email, for obvious reasons. IMO Rubberslug to ditch the feedback system all together if it cannot protect users from spam. |
