i redesigned my gallery, but i am not too sure how i feel about it- mainly i am a little undecided about the text colors. please let me know what your opinions are. my new design is based on the recent open-house feedbacks that i have received. i will also be adding new series descriptions and maybe a new thumbnail design. i'm still on the fence about the thumbnails. also, my gallery seems a little long? ideally, i wanted the design to fit within the browser and avoid the scroll bar. i couldn't figure out how to keep the borders from tiling. any help on that would be greatly appreciated. thank you to those of you who have already sent in some great suggestions! caroline
I really love the new update, the color scheme works really well and i think the background is very classy! Great new look! Alyssium
I love the colors and the elegant simplicity of the layout. A few of the collections appear "scrunched" as in all the cels look shoved together to the left. Is there any way to adjust them? Also, is there any way to bring up the bottom of the inner box of the content background? Would adding an image to the footer do that? For some reason the content block leaves a lot of empty space on the bottom. If it would pull up, it would look more framed. These are just minor suggestions, though and really not worth a major effort to change. They would only be minor adjustments to the framework of your lovely collection.
I like it a lot. I agree with Vapalla that it is simple and elegant, and a very nice backdrop for your collection.
The scrunching isn''t appearing in all of the galleries for me, and I checked it in firefox and don''t see it at all, so it might be something to do with safari (I have a mac). if you added the side block, perhaps it can''t change the length because it has to conform to the size of the part you added. I don''t think that is adjustable then. It looks beautiful anyway, I wouldn''t worry about it. The colors really suit your cels well!
I think the new design is quite lovely and very complementary to your collection.
