Finding that dream doujinshi... and happy thanksgiving! last modified: Wednesday, November 24, 2004 (2:38:24 PM) You know that feeling you get when you find something you really want, and could pee all over yourself in excitement?
I'm feeling it now. No, it's not a cel. I also collect doujinshi, which is another anime related hobby that not a lot of people get into. Which is fine with me, less competition. So anyway, Satoshi x Kasumi doujinshi (from Pokemon) are really very rare, at least where I check. There's bunches of oats of Satoshi x Takeshi, or Satoshi x Shigeru, or yes, even Satoshi x Kojirou or Pikachu (you don't want to know). Which I find really odd and can't figure out, since I figured that pairing was at least semi popular! I found one today and I'm in shreds! I must have it! If I lose, I will be heartbroken. So nobody bid - I know where you sleep... somewhere on Earth! And just so this will be cel related, um... I'm putting a Team Rocket cel on my Christmas Wish List! I have often debated which is better, cels or doujinshi. The jury''s still out on that. I think cels win by a thin margin for their greater rarity, but when a *really* good doujinshi comes along, the border gets blurred. Good luck. :) |
