Can't seem to register at Anime Beta

Hoping to make new cel friends (I don't have ANY in real life) I decided to register at Anime Beta. Heck, I figured, maybe somebody would have a Wish List or Team Rocket cel they'd be willing to part with. But it won't let me register? I've tried 5 times, and everytime I hit submit it just takes me back to the register page. Is it down or something?

Anyway, I feel really bad that I've pretty much been a lurker and sometimes visiter at this place. I'd really love to make more friends *hugs* Anybody want to be my buddy *kitty eyes*

I assume that you''re using the .net site rather than the .com site? The .com site is down right now for revamping.

The Admin has blocked all hotmail and gmail accounts, since those were the type of email accounts AB was getting the most fake account sign-ups from.

Basically, I believe either a Mod or an Admin has to approve each account. I would either try signing up using a non-hotmail/gmail email account, or I would try contacting one of the Mods. Most of the mods on AB have an account here on RS. I''d try Goldknight, since I believe she''s an Admin (and not just a Mod) on AB. Good luck!

Beta is currently revamping the site, so they''ve moved to a new server while the changes are taking place. I''m sure that once the site upgrade is done that they''ll be accepting new members at that time.

Thank you for clearing that up. I am no longer confused. I had to dig for an old email address to use as I basically have nothing BUT gmail and hotmail accounts. Hoping my membership will be approved very soon (I''m itching to post).
