Hrm.. last modified: Friday, January 08, 2016 (2:06:05 PM) Can't really justify 99% of my gallery anymore but can't be bothered to put anything up for *sale*, either. Cels just aren't really selling these days and for a lot of the items I'd rather just keep them rather than see them go for practically nothing.
But what am I keeping them FOR? Blah, I don't know what to do with them. It's nice leafing through them, but on the other hand, I have a house to upgrade..

put up a piece or too you dont want first and see how it goes i recently downsized my brothers superhero action figures and a few of my own this way
I kinda know what you''re going through. I need to lighten my collection (I''m making a LONG HAUL move) and yet I don''t want to let go of too much. What is selling is hit or miss."Meh" is how I''m feeling right now.
I''ve thought about this a lot for my collection, too. I might try selling a few things this coming summer.
Had the same experience a few years back. Sold many items including cels and just cleaned house. Selling unwanted stuff is liberating! Too much stuff is clutter. So sell anything that does not bring you joy anymore. Pretty sure a scan will suffice. Once you sell the items, odds are you can use the monies earned for something more meaningful for you. |
