Dragonball A True Addiction
last modified: Thursday, February 22, 2007 (9:45:21 PM)
Well, I don't know how many times I have said to myself. I am going to STOP collecting Dragonball items. Then I said, I am sooooo very addicted to this series still. My new resolve became. Ok, I will try to s-l-o-w---down on collecting, but it seems that it is a lot harder to stop than I thought. This is just rantings of an addicted dragonball collector.

HEHEHE

I know what you mean so very much....as you can very well see my collection has managed to slow down but not completely stop. I did say the later part of last year that I would retire, but really my intention was to maybe keep it to 3 or 4 purchases in a year if so and stay out of the actively buying circle. I find telling myself almost the same thing, I guess it is in our blood and perhaps it is too late for a cure....(^_^). I have to be honest with myself when I do say that I still enjoy watching the episodes all over again when I do. So if this is in hope of creating a DB circle of junkies that hope to find a cure count me in....

I try to tell myself to collect from other series but to many lovely cels from Dragonball pop up. Most of the time I watch to see who will add them to their collections and I then get to visit that cel whenever I want. Other times I can''t resist and manage to add one or two to mine every so often. I absolutely love the series and don''t think I could ever bring myself to stop collecting from it, lol. No matter how hard I would try to stop!! ^_^

I know what you mean. x_x Even though I''m not working now and don''t really have any spending money, I''m still continually browsing for cels from either Conan or Sonic.

Speaking of Conan... *goes and drools buckets over your sketches of Jimmy and Kaitou Kid again*
